At 1:30, we will show the video of Karen Woolley's keynote address at the Annual Conference in Dallas last year. Titled "Getting Respect—Two Steps Forward and ?", we will use the address to kick off a discussion of the controversy surrounding the use of professional medical writers (vs ghostwriters) to publish medical studies.
We are planning on providing a WebX link and teleconference number so that those who want to participate but cannot travel to Ann Arbor can partake remotely. Details regarding the WebX and teleconference will be distributed the week of Feb 15th.
Please note: i3-Statprobe has moved since we last had a meeting at their facilities.
We also want to congratulate everyone on the wild success of our first chapter conference in many years last August. It was so successful that Cindy Hamilton, then President of AMWA and one of the workshop leaders for our conference, pushed us to build on our success and plan a new conference quickly, using the same facilities.
